Our Story & Impact
Striving for inclusion and building self-sufficient networks of youth leaders across underserved communities.
Our Vision
To make access to quality education and state accountability a reality, transforming the landscape of opportunity and rights for marginalized communities.
Our Mission
To build a self-sufficient network of Youth Leaders across underserved communities, empowering local individuals to take on ground actions and transform their own neighbourhoods.
Our Theory of Change
We work primarily with social groups that have the lowest income and education indicators. Historically, these underserved communities access education, nutrition, and health through unreliable third-party agents, leaving them liable to fraud and alienation from fundamental rights and government entitlements.
Our interventions are designed to bridge this gap through continuous capacity building, grassroots leadership training, and setting up documentation and learning centres to help navigate complex administrative systems.
Our Core Values
Our work and interventions are driven by a strong commitment to core values that center the community.
- Inclusivity: Active outreach to the most marginalized sections.
- Compassion: Deep empathy when understanding systemic barriers.
- Participatory approach: Listening and learning alongside the community.
- Sustainability: Capacity building that ensures long-term impact.
Our Key Activities
Our initiatives encompass a multi-pronged strategy to ensure the well-being and progress of communities:
- Learning Centres: Spaces for foundational education and community gathering.
- Documentation Drives: Helping families access government schemes and entitlements.
- Sensitisation Hubs: Addressing caste and gender discrimination to build an equitable space.
- Legal Awareness: Educating the youth and community on their rights and legal frameworks.
Community-Led Education
Offering foundational education to children historically deprived of consistent schooling.
Documentation Support
Facilitation of access to government entitlements, assisting residents in applying for critical documents.
Sensitization Hubs
Creating spaces for sensitization sessions addressing caste and gender discrimination, nurturing a more equitable social environment.
