Mandal Parishad Primary School, Gunipalli, Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh (18th, 21st and 22nd December, 2017)

Over the course of 3 days, students of class 3rd, 4th and 5th were taught. They had an understanding of parts of speech in the vernacular (Telugu), which made it easier to teach them the same in English.

Nouns, Pronouns, Verbs, Adjectives, Prepositions, Articles, Vowels and Tenses were taught during the said duration. In the last session, they were asked to write a paragraph about themselves and most of the students were able to frame basic sentences.

The school administration was very cooperative as they readily granted us permission and also helped in maintaining the discipline of the class. The teachers have also agreed to administer worksheets that we will be sending at regular intervals. This will ensure that the students keep practicing whatever they have learnt now.
