CuBE (Community Base for Learning)
CuBE is DEVISE’s most recent initiative. As the name suggests, the idea is to provide adequate space for children to explore and learn beyond their regular school hours. We teach them basic English so that they can gradually understand their textbooks. At the same time, the ultimate objective is to integrate the community in this process, i.e. the parents, local youth and the village administration, for effective learning. It will help in building sustainable learning centres with the help of community.
CuBE is located in Muneerabad. We managed to get a room near the gram panchayat’s office. The sarpanch was really accommodative.
Upasana Manoj (5th year), Anirudh Shankar and Pooja Agarwal (3rd year) conducted this semester’s first session. Mostly kids from primary classes turned up for the session. The team decided that instead of directly getting into the subject matter, it would be better to gauge their level of knowledge and understanding by teaching them basic sentences like, “what is your name?” and simple spellings.
The successful working of CuBE is dependant on the hard work of our volunteers. With their help, we hope CuBE achieves the objective it was started with.

CUBE (క్యూబ్) అనేది ఇటీవలి కాలంలో DEVISE ప్రారంభించిన సరికొత్త కార్యక్రమం. పేరు సూచించినట్లు CUBE (క్యూబ్) కార్యక్రమం పిల్లలకు సాధారణ పాటశాల సమయంలో కాకుండా ఇతర సమయంలో విద్యను అన్వేించడానికి మరియు నేర్చుకోవడానికి తగిన అవకాశాన్నీ కల్పిచుస్తింది. పిల్లలు పాఠ్య పుస్తకాలను క్రమంగా అర్దం చేసుకోవడానికి మేము వారికీ ప్రాధమిక ఇంగ్లీష్ బోధిస్తాము. దానితో పాటు ఈ కార్యక్రమం యొక్క ముఖ్య ఉద్దేశం ఏమనగా, ప్రక్రియలో భాగంగా సమాజం నుండి తల్లిదండ్రులను, స్థానిక యువతను మరియు గ్రామ పారిపాలనస్తులను ఏకకృతం చేయడం. తద్వారా పిల్లలకు సమర్ధవంతమైన విద్యను నేర్పా వచ్చు. ఈ ప్రక్రియ సంఘం సహకారంతో మెరుగైన విద్య కేంద్రాలను నిర్మించడంలో సహాయపడుతుంది.
CUBE (క్యూబ్) కార్యక్రమాన్ని మేము మొదటిసారిగా మునీరబాద్ గ్రామం లో ప్రారంభించాం. గ్రామ సర్పంచ్ గారి సహకారంతో మేము CUBE (క్యూబ్) కార్యక్రమాలు కోసం గ్రామ పంచాయతీ కార్యాలయం దగ్గర ఒక గదిని పొందగలిగాము.
ఈ సెమిస్టర్ యొక్క మొదట సెషను ఉపాసన మనోజ్ ( 5 వ సంవత్సరం), అనిరుధ్ మరియు పూజ (3 వ సంవత్సరం) నిర్వహించారు. ప్రాధమిక తరగతుల పిల్లలు ఎక్కువగా ఈ సెషనకు హాజరయ్యారు. CUBE (క్యూబ్) బృందం పిల్లల్లోని ఆసక్తిని మరియు వారి అవగాహన స్థాయిని తెలుసుకోవడానికి నేరుగా పాఠ్యాంశాలను భోదించకుండ, సాధారణ స్పెల్లింగ్ లు వంటి ప్రాధమిక వాక్యాలను నేర్పించాలని నిర్ణయించుకున్నారు.
CuBE యొక్క విజయవంతమైన పని మా వాలంటీర్ల కృషిపై ఆధారపడి ఉంటుంది. వారి సహాయంతో, క్యూబ్ ప్రారంభించిన లక్ష్యాన్ని సాధిస్తుందని మేము ఆశిస్తున్నాము.
